The faculty members of our center are all PhD in the various areas of pure and applied linguistics and have a vast experience of teaching at the universities. Further, they are related to teaching and supervision of the research at the postgraduate level. Thus they are fully familiar with the written communication needs and difficulties of the learning writers. Furthermore, they have also experience of course designing and development and delivering workshops to the university scholars and professional writers. Thus they are well equipped with the information and skills to boost the writing skills of the new writers.
Faculty Members

Dr Bajwa has worked as an ESL teacher and research supervisor for two decades at the postgraduate level. He has also worked as a resource person for academic and professional writing in the Faculty Planning & Development Division of HEC Pakistan. He taught English language in different areas, such as Semantics, Pragmatics, Syntax, Discourse Analysis, Applied Linguistics, etc., but his postgraduate students’ writing problems obliged him to immerse in the area of teaching academic writing. He has specially focused on grammar, text, and discourse for scholarly writing and developing materials for the university scholars’ support.
Dr. Mahwish Shamim is a renowned scholar with a Doctorate in English Linguistics and 15 years of teaching experience. Her expertise spans corpus linguistics, corpus pragmatics, morphology, and academic writing. She believes in fostering a supportive as well as interactive learning environment that encourages learners’ growth and efficacy.


Dr. Zarnab Ahmed is a proactive scholar with a specialization in Applied Linguistics and Writing Skills. Her research focuses on the design of effective syllabi and the evaluation of textbooks to enhance English language learning. She actively contributes to the growth of academic writers through workshops and seminars. Her work particularly aims to improve new bilingual writers’ capability in academic and research writing so that they can become impactful writers.
